How Does Gay ‘Marriage’ Hurt Us? Here’s How.

This is a very well written article by Eric Metaxas on how Gay Marriage hurts us as Christians.  As believers in Jesus Christ, we need to protect our First Amendment rights to the Constitution.  We need to be able to exercise our rights as Christians and not be afraid that we will lose our livelihood for being a believer in Jesus Christ.  The persecution of Christians is getting worse by the day.  Even though this is an older article it still is relevant for us today.  We need to make sure that President Trump protects our rights to the Constitution so that they will never be taken from us.

Eric has a petition that I think all Christians should sign.  It is called the Manhattan Declaration and I am going to include it with this article.  Here is the link if you would like to join me in signing this: I ask you to go to this website and watch the one minute video, sign the petition, share it with friends and discuss it with others.  If you can please support it as well.

Thank you very much and may God bless you!!!  Maranatha!!!  😀

Teresa is a Christian wife, mother and grandmother residing in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Though she first found Jesus in 1971, it wasn't until 2009, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer, that she truly drew near to Jesus and began living her life to serve Him. Though she was told that the outlook was bleak, by the grace of God and the amazing surgeons and oncologists He brought into her life, Teresa is now 8 years cancer free. She has since devoted her time to sharing the Good News of the gospel with all those she meets and talks to in person and online. She serves as a counselor and "grandma" on several different websites, offering counseling advice and prayer to believers and non-believers searching for answers. Teresa also has a passion for prophecy and the imminent rapture of the church and spends much of her time sharing news stories and Scripture indicating all of the prophecy happening in our world, everyday, before our very eyes.

I would be very weary of Eric Metaxas. he is not “born again” Anyone who thinks that the Pope is a great man, needs to get saved. Period!.

I know that Eric Metaxas is saved or Pastor Jack Hibbs would have never had him at his church. He has taken many stands that are very Biblical and I believe that he is a man of God. just because he said something that was nice about the Pope doesn’t mean that he isn’t a Christian. The Bible teaches that the good works we do cannot make us acceptable to God. Titus 3:5 says, “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.” So, a Christian is someone who has been born again by God (John 3:3; John 3:7; 1 Peter 1:23) and has put faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that it is “…by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

A true Christian is a person who has put faith and trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ, this would include His death on the cross as payment for sins and His resurrection on the third day. The Bible says “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.” The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word. A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Jesus Christ. God bless you!!! Maranatha!!! 😀
