South Korea condemns ‘threat to peace and stability of the whole world’; launch posed no threat to North America, US military says
Today while taking my grandson to school, I noticed a huge battleship in our Maunalua Bay. This Naval ship had guns and I rushed home to see if there was anything on the news. No one was reporting on why there was a battleship in our bay. It is normal to see them in Pearl Harbor, but the last time I saw battleships in Maunalua Bay was on September 11, 2001. I must say that some of the most expensive real Estate in Honolulu is on the south and south East shores.
When I saw this article I knew why there was a battleship in Maunalua Bay. North Korea fired a ballistic missile into the sea of Japan today and that is why I believe that Hawaii was on high alert. When there is a leader in North Korea who is so unstable that he would fire a missile at Japan right before the China – United States summit, which North Koreas accelerating nuclear program will be a top agenda of this summit.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the launch was a “grave provocation” that “clearly violates UN Security Council resolutions”.
“It is possible that (the North) will take further provocative actions,” he added.
It is also important to note that Pyongyang wants to develop long range missiles that will reach the US Mainland with a nuclear warhead. Hawaii is much closer to Korea than the US Mainland. Though I do not believe that he is crazy enough to try to hit Hawaii or the US Mainland. I believe that he would go for our bases in South Korea, Japan and Guam. These are certainly exciting times that we are living in. Let me know what you think. Maranatha!
