Trusting Jesus For Every Part Of My Life….

Trusting Jesus For Every Part Of My Life….

This morning as I sat down with the Lord I wanted to get closer to Him in every way.  So how do I get an awesome walk with God?  The first Scripture that came to mind was this one:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

So what does it mean to trust in the Lord for every part of our life?  For me, it is taking everything to Him.  To pour out my heart to Him knowing that He is my refuge and will never leave me or forsake me.  When I had lung cancer and was getting ready for surgery I learned that there is to fear in trusting in the Lord.  Trust and fear are opposites. We all face hard times in our lives and when I feel fear coming I just stand on this Scripture and the fear is replaced by that blessed assurance that the Lord Jesus gives to all of us.

As my refuge, I know that the Lord will teach me and guide me to where He wants me to be. I get a real peace when I put all of my trust in Him.  I don’t have to go to anyone else.  I just need to be still and wait upon Him.  He never disappoints me and has led me through some very hard trials.  I can feel the Holy Spirit leading me where He wants me to be and that can be hard sometimes because my sin nature gets in the way and I have to stop just whisper Lord help me and He really does.  Making good habits are also a great way to ensure that your walk with Jesus will be an awesome one.  How long would you have a friend if you never talked to them or shared your feelings with them? It is the same way with the Lord.  I have to set aside time daily to spend in His word and on my knees.  I had to commit to having tome with Jesus every morning. I don’t want to start my day until I spend time with Jesus. It just makes my whole day better.

Life is just so much more serene and peaceful when we come to God like little children and say, “God, I don’t want to live on my own. I want to trust You. When I don’t know what to do, I’ll put all of my trust in You. In my life when I trust completely in the Lord He also gives me His awesome peace that passes all understanding.  This is the peace that can help you to walk through the shadow of death and fear nothing.  For He is with you.  Thank you Jesus!!! ♥

Though she first found Jesus in 1971, it wasn't until 2009, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer, that she truly drew near to Jesus and began living her life to serve Him. Though she was told that the outlook was bleak, by the grace of God and the amazing surgeons and oncologists He brought into her life, Teresa is now 8 years cancer free. She has since devoted her time to sharing the Good News of the gospel with all those she meets and talks to in person and online. She serves as a counselor and "grandma" on several different websites, offering counseling advice and prayer to believers and non-believers searching for answers. Teresa also has a passion for prophecy and the imminent rapture of the church and spends much of her time sharing news stories and Scripture indicating all of the prophecy happening in our world, everyday, before our very eyes.
