It is clear to me that Bret Stephens does not have a clue about what it means to be a man of God.  Men of God do not terrorize their women.  They love them as Christ loves the church and gave his life for them.  He loves the Lord and is obedient to His Word.  He loves his wife enough to put her feelings first.  He doesn’t want there to even be the appearance of anything immoral.

Ephesians 5:3 tells us, “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity…because these are improper for God’s holy people.” Anything that even “hints” of sexual immorality is inappropriate for a Christian.

I believe that Mike Pence follows the “Billy Graham Rule” This rule is craftings a strategy for integrity that all men of God should have. The rule states that you would not eat, travel, or otherwise spend time alone with someone of the opposite sex while on the road. Mike Pence is doing this to honor his wife and their marriage as a man of God.  He also does it to protect the other women that he meets with.

He doesn’t say that he will not take a meeting with these women.  He does say that his wife will be present for them as well. I agree with Mike Pence and I am so happy that we have a man of God as our Vice President.

Ever since The Washington Post published Ashley Parker’s profile of Karen Pence, wife of Mike Pence, progressives have fixated on the vice president’s personal behavior as it pertains to his relationship with his wife. Parker writes:

Teresa is a Christian wife, mother and grandmother residing in Honolulu, Hawai'i. Though she first found Jesus in 1971, it wasn't until 2009, when she was diagnosed with lung cancer, that she truly drew near to Jesus and began living her life to serve Him. Though she was told that the outlook was bleak, by the grace of God and the amazing surgeons and oncologists He brought into her life, Teresa is now 8 years cancer free. She has since devoted her time to sharing the Good News of the gospel with all those she meets and talks to in person and online. She serves as a counselor and "grandma" on several different websites, offering counseling advice and prayer to believers and non-believers searching for answers. Teresa also has a passion for prophecy and the imminent rapture of the church and spends much of her time sharing news stories and Scripture indicating all of the prophecy happening in our world, everyday, before our very eyes.
